It was a wonderful time with children of Annai Theresa Matriculation School celebrating our 79th Independence Day. Hoisting the flag representing RC Chennai Aram was a moment of immense pride, filling our hearts with profound gratitude towards our beloved motherland. We thank our Vocational Service Director, Rtn. Suguna Devi, for organizing such a wonderful opportunity in collaboration with the school’s management.

We have conducted competitions and distributed cash prizes. The creativity and beauty of expression expressed in the middle school poster competition were absolutely mind-blowing.

Secretary of RC Chennai Aram, Rtn. Thangadurai carried out a thoughtful and in-depth analysis of the posters, finding it a challenging task to choose the winners of the day.

Moderated by Rtn. Sangeetha, the debate on “Are We Really Feeling the Sense of Independence?” turned into an engaging and insightful session, as students passionately put forth their points in a lively and heated exchange.

Rtn. M. R. Jayaprakash, the Guest of Honour for the event, reflected on the reasons for celebrating Independence Day and other commemorative occasions.
