Celebrating Kamarajar's Birthday

On the special occasion of K. Kamarajar's birthday celebrated across Tamil Nadu as Education Development Day the Rotary Club of Chennai ARAM organized a meaningful and heartwarming event dedicated to students from a nearby government school.

Kamarajar, fondly remembered as the Kalvi Thanthai (Father of Education), championed access to quality education for all, especially the underprivileged. Honoring his legacy, our club created an engaging educational activity session for the students. The event focused on encouraging participation, building confidence, and igniting a spirit of learning.

As part of the initiative, we also distributed stationery kits to the students, ensuring they are equipped with basic tools to support their learning journey. The joy on the children's faces was truly priceless — they participated with enthusiasm, interacted actively, and left the event feeling inspired and motivated.

It was a memorable day for both the students and our members. We, at Rotary Club of Chennai ARAM, are committed to carrying forward the vision of leaders like Kamarajar by empowering students through education and encouragement.
